Virtual Student Career Fair - Weds. September 22, 2021
by pre-scheduled appointments only from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
This virtual event offers an opportunity to meet professionals from firms and companies, in a video chat room. Students can meet virtually and talk with recruiters about employment openings or upcoming internships, in public accounting firms, corporations, and governmental agencies.
Students benefit by saving valuable time and can meet with potential employers without having to travel. Students can also avoid the awkward or intimidating feeling of having to walk into a crowded room full of strangers.
Post bachelors and junior and senior-level accounting majors at 4-year public and private colleges and universities in Arkansas are eligible to attend. Space for this online event is limited to 100 students. Students are required to upload a resume as a PDF.
Students should familiarize themselves with Career Fair Plus website or app in advance. If using the app for the event, students should download the Career Fair Plus app to their phone or device (from App store or Google Play) in preparation for the virtual fair and should see this video demo to see how it works. The firm recruiters will set their appointment time slots. Once the appointment sign-up period opens for students (on the morning of September 17), then students can upload their resume as a PDF and book appointment times to meet virtually with the firms (using the Career Fair Plus website or app). Appointment sign-ups will begin at 8:00 on the morning of September 17 and will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
