Summary:
We are seeking an accountant to join our team at our Hot Springs, AR location. As an accountant at Keith Smith Company, you will gain a broad accounting experience as well as build your business acumen. You will be a part of a team that adds value to the company through analysis and transforming data into information used for business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Review accounts receivable & accounts payable transactions
· Reconcile accounts receivable & accounts payable aging to control accounts
· Customer credit review & analysis
· Maintain reporting for AR credit insurance
· Prepare monthly sales tax filings
· Fulfill auditor requests for the external year end audit
· Help develop and prepare cash flow reporting
· Prepare other internal and external reporting as needed
· Prepare & distribute bi-weekly pricing calculation
· Contribute to budget/forecasts
· Assist in special projects as required by manager
· Work on other similar accounting tasks and responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Preferred Skills/Experience
• Experienced with Microsoft Excel
• Driven self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well with others in a team setting
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience using Sage Intacct or other ERP System

About the Position
The Controller is responsible for overseeing accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls for entities served by Walton Enterprises. What you will do

The Accounting Department at the University of Central Arkansas is looking for a Lecturer of Accounting to begin in August 2026. A lecturer at the University of Central Arkansas is expected to teach classes at the undergraduate level; graduate-level course assignments are also possible. The faculty member will be expected to teach a variety of accounting courses in both face to face and distance education formats. Lecturers are also expected to provide service at a variety of levels (service levels may include student, department, college, university, profession, academic community, and/or local community). Lecturers will maintain currency in the profession by engaging in professional engagement activities (e.g., consulting, attending or presenting CPE, leadership in professional associations, etc.).
The required education level for this position is either (a) a Master’s degree in accounting, (b) a Master’s degree that contains at least 18 hours of accounting, or (c) a LLM in taxation for those wishing to teach tax. Teaching experience, in either traditional or non-traditional settings, is desirable. Professional experience in accounting is also preferred. An undergraduate degree in accounting is preferred. Absent an undergraduate degree in accounting, the candidate should have significant experience in accounting. A current CPA certification (for all applicants) or a current license to practice law (for those wishing to teach tax) is preferred. Other accounting certifications related to experience and teaching interests will also be considered.
