About The Student Education Fund

The Student Education Fund was created by the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants, its Charter stating among its purposes that it is to "aid, promote, develop and advance education and research relating to the study, teaching and practice of accountancy and related allied fields.” The Student Education Fund is principally committed to making scholarships primarily to Arkansas students attending four year colleges and universities in Arkansas.

Scholarship Program

Each year the Student Education Fund awards scholarships to qualifying accounting majors attending four-year colleges and universities in Arkansas. Student Education Fund Scholarships are based on the nominations by the Head of the Accounting Department of qualifying universities. Students must be nominated before they can apply. Applications without nominations are not considered qualified for scholarships purposes.


AWARD DETAILS
  • One-time annual award
  • Applied to summer, fall, and/or spring semester
  • Based on academic achievement, professional promise, and faculty nomination
Applicants must submit:
  • A completed application and GPA form
  • Official transcript and resume
  • Letter of recommendation (non-relative)
  • Recent photo for publication

Deadline: February 10 | Nomination is required before applying.
