To effectively implement the established legislative policy of ARCPA and the State Board of Public Accountancy.
To prepare all materials necessary for such implementation in cooperation with the State Board of Public Accountancy as well as the legal counsel of the Society.
To introduce, at the proper time, amendments to strengthen the law in accordance with the policy of ARCPA.
To maintain constant liaison with members of the Legislature.
To invite legislators to local meetings of the committee to discuss the profession's program before any legislation has been introduced.
To prepare statistics to enable ARCPA to cite facts as to the practice of accounting in Arkansas.
To cooperate with other interested professions, where it is deemed advisable, in the support of legislation considered to be in the public interest, or to oppose legislation considered to not be in the public interest.
