David R. Bridgforth is a partner in Ramsay, Bridgforth, Robinson and Raley LLP in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Mr. Bridgforth received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Louisiana Tech University in May of 1988. Mr. Bridgforth received the degree of JurisDoctor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law in 1991. Mr. Bridgforth is licensed to practice in all of the courts in Arkansas, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Mr. Bridgforth is a member of the American Bar Association, Arkansas Bar Association, and the Jefferson County Bar Association.
Mr. Bridgforth’s practice is concentrated in the area of agricultural law, real estate law, commercial transactions, and general civil litigation. Mr. Bridgforth represents landowners and farmers on a national basis in the areas of farm organization and administrative appeals before the Farm Service Agency and the National Appeals Division of the United States Department of Agriculture. In addition, Mr. Bridgforth has represented farmers on a national basis in Federal litigation involving judicial review of decisions of the National Appeals Division and the Risk Management Agency and the defense of claims instituted by the United States against farmers under the False Claims Act.
Mr. Bridgforth has lectured on issues related to Federal Farm Programs at seminars conducted across the United States by the American Agricultural Law Association, the National Pork Producer’s Council, the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Mississippi Tax Institute, Inc., the Delta Council, Capital Agricultural Property Services, Top Producer, and the Arkansas Bar Association.
